Dr. Anuradha Malla appointed as new Chairperson of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Uttarakhand Chapter.

In an inaugural event held at Olympus High, the Uttarakhand chapter of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) announced the appointment of Dr. Anuradha Malla as its new chairperson for the year 2023-24. The event was graced by the presence of renowned TV and Hollywood actress Kiran Dubey as the special guest.

Dr. Anuradha Malla is an experienced educator and founder of Olympus High School in Dehradun. With over two decades of teaching and administrative experience, Dr. Malla has been invited as a speaker and panelist in various national and international seminars. She is also a prolific writer and the founder of a herbal brand called 'Stopping by the Woods'. Dr. Malla has received numerous awards and felicitations for her contribution to education and society. Besides education, she is active in the field of writing short stories and film scripts.

The inaugural program commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Special Guest Kiran Dubey, Senior Vice Chairperson Charu Chauhan, Past Chairperson Kiran Bhatt Todaria, and the incoming Chairperson Dr. Anuradha Malla. The event continued with the Change of Guard ceremony wherein the Immediate Past Chairperson Dr. Neha Sharma invited Dr. Malla on stage.

In her address to the gathering, Dr. Malla expressed her gratitude, apprehension, and excitement as she embarks on this journey with FLO. She spoke about her vision to provide opportunities, skills, education, and a fresh canvas for each woman to paint her empowered life. Dr. Malla's mission is to create a sustainable link to ready markets and state policies for women entrepreneurs and to educate and hone their skills to stand with the best.

The theme for this year is 'Aalekhya,' which focuses on the indescribable and unpredictable skill that women possess, ranging from art, culture, care & hospitality, food, commerce, and industries. Dr. Malla aims to provide financial assistance, skill-building, and digital literacy to girls from weak socio-economic backgrounds, as well as women holding their own in society.

Kiran Dubey shared her thoughts on strength, vulnerability, humility, and seeking help. She emphasized that it is okay to have moments of vulnerability and humility, and being strong does not always mean being strong all the time. Kiran encouraged women to support and empower each other, which is a crucial aspect of achieving gender equality and creating a more inclusive society.

Dr. Malla announced her Office Bearers, which included Immediate Past Chairperson Dr. Neha Sharma, Senior Vice Chairperson Charu Chauhan, Vice Chairperson Ruchi Jain, Secretary Tripti Behl, Jt. Secretary Mansi Rastogi, Treasurer Harpreet Kaur, and Jt. Treasurer Nisha Thakur.

 The program concluded with a rocking performance by the renowned Doon-based Director, Producer, Actor, and Singer Kunal Shamshere Malla, followed by an enchanting cultural program.
