D.L.F. Foundation Extends Support to the Residents of Sera Gram Panchayat

October 26, 2023, the D.L.F. Foundation reached out to the residents of Sera Gram Panchayat in the Saklana region of the Jaunpur development block to provide essential assistance. Colonel Anil Kumar Thapa, the General Manager of the D.L.F. Foundation, was present on this occasion to distribute necessary supplies to the villagers.
The distribution included walking sticks for the elderly, wheelchairs for differently-abled individuals, hearing aids for the hearing-impaired, blankets for the underprivileged, and various school supplies, such as benches, mats, and utensils, to motivate and support all the students of the local government primary schools in Aerla and Sera villages.
Furthermore, the Foundation assured that they would soon facilitate the installation of sturdy tin roofs for those living in temporary shelters.
Anil Singh Aerla, the Gram Pradhan of Sera Gram Panchayat, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Colonel Thapa and the D.L.F. Foundation for choosing their village for assistance. He acknowledged the invaluable help that would be remembered by the entire community and pointed out that unlike their repeated disappointments with government aid, such generous contributions from social activists like Colonel Thapa and organizations like the D.L.F. Foundation have instilled renewed hope.
Colonel Thapa assured ongoing support and pledged to do whatever is possible for the welfare of the village and its residents. He emphasized his commitment to always work for the betterment of the community.
The program was attended by Colonel A.K. Thapa, the D.L.F. Foundation team, all the villagers, Gram Pradhan Anil Singh Aerla, the Principal of the Government Primary School in Aerla, Assistant Teachers, Rajesh Nautiyal, the Vice President of the O.B.C. Youth Forum, Veerendra Singh Panwar, the President of the Agalad Ghati Development Committee, Omprakash Panwar, the District Panchayat Representative, L.S. Negi, the Principal of the Rajkiya Inter College in Ragda village, and several other local representatives.
