 Date: Jun 28 -  Vice Admiral, A G Thapliyal, AVSM(Bar) retd, President, Naval Officer's Association  and Cmde  Gautam Negi, Secretary, called upon Col U S Thakur, President and  it's executive body of  Dehradun Ex servicemen League for a courtesy call and to understand the  functioning of the league. Col U S Thakur , President, DESL, Col B M Thapa, Sr Vice President DESL, welcomed the guests with mementos.










The meeting was scheduled in the conference hall of Dehradun Ex servicemen League. Exchange of views were done in a very cordial atmosphere and both the side understood the functioning of the organisations very well.

The main aim of both the organisations is  to render flawless and  yeoman services for the welfare of war veterans, war widows, veterans, veer naris and their dependents . Perhaps it is for the first time in the history of both the organisations that they have come on one platform and  decided to venture for this yeoman cause which will benifit   the Veterans, war widows, veer naris and their dependents of the Armed Forces ( Army ,Navy and Air force).

Vice Admiral, A G Thapliyal, AVSM(Bar), retd while expressing his thanks and gratitudes said that in future we will continue to meet each other for  this  comman cause and endeavour to improve upon our relations in order to achieve better outcome.

Maj Gen AS Aswal,  President, UESL, expressed that it is a positive approach in the direction of welfare of Veterans and we should continue to move unitedly to achieve better results . Col. D S Berthwal, Cmde, Gautam Negi, Col B M Thapa, Capt Neel Thapa, Cdr S S. Matharu, Block President, DESL, Doiwala, Hav B P Sharma, President DESL, Ranipokhari Branch and Sub B S THAKUR  Vice President , DESL and others were also present.

 आज दिनांक 11 नवंबर 2024 सोमवार को श्री श्यामेंद्र कुमार साहू डिप्टी कंट्रोलर नागरिक सुरक्षा देहरादून की अध्यक्षता में नागरिक सुरक्षा संगठन के वरिष्ठ वार्डनों की मासिक बैठक का आयोजन नागरिक सुरक्षा कार्यालय 75 माता मंदिर रोड अजबपुर कला में आयोजित की गई।  उक्त बैठक में वरिष्ठ वार्डनों द्वारा प्रतिभाग किया गया तथा 6 दिसंबर 2024 को नागरिक सुरक्षा स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर रैतिक परेड के आयोजन हेतु महत्वपूर्ण तैयारियों  के संबंध में चर्चा की गई तथा आवश्यक सुझाव वार्डनों को दिए गए।  उक्त बैठक में आई कार्ड बनाए जाने हेतु आवश्यक जानकारी देने के लिये वार्डनों को सूचित किया गया तथा वार्डनो द्वारा निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य शिविर का आयोजन, वृक्षारोपण पॉलीथिन उन्मूलन, नशा मुक्ति अभियान आदि विषयों पर चर्चा की गई। उक्त बैठक में नागरिक सुरक्षा के अधिकारी कर्मचारी तथा समस्त वरिष्ठ वार्डन उपस्थित रहे।
